GDS channels (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan) have been operating since half a century (SABRE was born in the early ’60s), and despite the growth of OTA, retain the leadership in corporate bookings.
All multinational Corporations and most of mid-size Companies book through traditional Travel Agencies, linked to the GDS.
It is important to consider that a reservation that does not get to the hotel because this is not present on the GDS, does not come through other channels, it goes to another hotel that is on the GDS
